Will The Online Gambling Survey Affect President Bush?

5 Oct 2006

Most likely not, but some do believe that if the US president, George W. Bush will see that most of American wagers believe that there is no problem with online gambling, he might not put his signature on the new law and disapprove of it. The survey only states one question - is online gambling wrong or not. The most likely answer to be is a very large "NO". Online gambling has entered to so many other, non traditional gaming, fields, that there is no prevention from saying no, and making sure Bush knows it.

This law should be a major crush to US online casinos. Practically the companies cannot open and operate a casino that takes money from the credit card companies. But this has no real affect on the online gambling sites, as they have non traditional routes offered in- which are not considered online gambling, and they also enable different payment options that does not require credit. The chanced of Bush not signing the paper in as slim as the chances of any major downfall will happen within online gambling what so ever, due to this law.

This year the industry prepared itself by moving its financial headquarters into other countries outside the US, (the global online gambling move), breaking into mobile phones industry and much more. The US problem might have its affect but it's not devastating to the whole online casino picture. Online gambling will keep being the most growing industry on internet.
